I’m not normally one to run to the store and buy the latest operating system. But the apple dangled video ichat and being able to make to do’s from emails in front of me. I had lots of horrible memories from Windows updgrades in my past, but I couldn’t resist the siren call from Cupertino. Last night my copy of Leopard arrived and I installed in on my computer.
The only downside I’ve seen so far is that all my printer drivers have disapeared. Other than that — I like it. Here are 5 things I like about Leopard.
1. To - Do s — the to do and event maker are really easy to use.
2. Notes — notes are nice and can be attached to different e-mail accounts.
3. My machine runs faster.
4. I chat — the different backgrounds are really fun.
5. I chat — you can go into someone else’s computer while you are chatting and work together. This is invaluable for my virtual assistant work.
6. Time Machine— I am horrible at backing things up — TM makes it oh so easy.
7 Quick preview. You can actually see what all of documents are — if you are not much of a filer — this is a lifesaver.
I’m sure I’ll find more things as I play with it more. But, all in all, I’ve been astonished by how easy the install was.
