Confessions of a Christmas Card Criminal…

by Meredith on November 26, 2007

I confess…

I have not always been a very good sender of cards.  I really enjoy getting the cards in the mail, but I never could seem to get mine out the door before New Years’.   I usually buy the cards, sometimes even address them — but they never seemed to make it out the door.  Nobody ever really said anything about my lack of card reciprocity — but I noticed I started getting fewer each year.

This year, I found something that I think will definately help.  Send Out Cards (http://holidaycardtimesaver.com).   Send Out Cards lets you choose and type up a card (it can even be in your own handwriting font or using your own pictures).   They print it out,  put a stamp on it and mail it.  It is really quick and easy to send cards this way.   You can even sneak in a gift card or some chocolates :)  Surprisingly, it actually costs less to send out a card this way than to buy a card at the Hallmark store.

Since last year, I’ve sent out 200 cards this way to friends, family, clients, prospects and just people that I think need some cheering up. It makes me feel good to send the cards…  and I’ve been hearing from people a lot more.  It sounds corny, but Send Out Cards has changed my life…
